Susan is a well known artist in the Ohio Valley, having been featured in the local newspapers, such as The Times Leader, Martins Ferry, Ohio and The Wheeling News Register, Wheeling, W.Va.

Her accomplishments include, Handpainted Murals in one local Business, The Sons of Italy Lodge #754, Located at 3348 Belmont St. Bellaire, Ohio. Here she painted an "Italian" themed, stone wall with Beautiful, Italianate Columns, wrapped in vining leaves and a faux marble pedestal with an urn overflowing with roses and greenery. This mural encompassed an entire wall (approximately 16 ft. high by 34 ft. wide) of the dining room, which is open to the public on Thursdays for their "Pasta Night". (this mural took six weeks to complete)
